According to Nielsen’s 2011 State of the Media report, when it comes to video TV still leads the way. They estimate 145M people watch video online compared to 290M who watch traditional TV in the US. When looking at time spent, on average we watch 32 hours and 47 minutes of traditional TV a week. Of the 3 hours and 58 minutes a week we average spent on the Internet, only 27 minutes is watching video.
