According to a new survey from Accenture, 64% of U.S. consumers recalled seeing social media symbols (primarily Facebook & Twitter) during television programming. Further, 33% indicated they’d interacted with social media after seeing the symbols. Of those, 20% liked the TV program on Facebook, 11% scanned a QR code, 7% searched a hashtag on Twitter, and 5% scanned a Shazam symbol. More here.
