In an interview with CNET, Reggie said Nintendo sold approx 1.2M hardware units over last week, launch week for Wii U. Broken down by console, the numbers were 400K Wii U, 300K Wii, 250K 3DS, and 275K DS. Also this week, news of the Wii Mini broke. Available only in Canada Dec 7 for $99, it comes with the console, controller, nunchuck, sensor bar and cables. The Mini does not have GameCube compatibility or internet access. Press release here.
