Stemming from disappointing holiday sales, Nintendo has cut their Wii U sales forecast (April 2013 – March 2014) to a third of their original estimate, from 9M to 2.8M units. Consequently, software predictions were cut as well, from 3.8M to 1.9M. The company now expects to announce a 35B yen ($336M) loss on full-year sales of 5.65B. Press release here.
